Maaan, it's been a long time since I've thought of any dolly stuff. I mean, recently I've been debating about getting an Obitsu head and a Pure Neemo body to go with it. I was thinking of using that as a practice head for face-ups.

But I still have all of these resin dolls I want to get, and I haven't touched mine in months and ajflhdiudag--

:/ It's not like I don't have time to play with them, I just don't know how. There are a lot of things I could do, and somethings I can't do because of setting/time of day/etc. But i do want to start having some of them around me more, like my YoSDs.

But I think I can start to trim my wishlist again.
I'll just strike some names out, so if the chance comes where I can get another, then I can figure out who to go for.

Pomp is here and is spending time with Tiresias. :3 I took some pictures of him/them and you can view some of them here. He was going to have blue eyes, originally, but I like him more with heterochromia. His wig is also a bit small, but it works well. :D It's what I get for forgetting about MNFs' head sizes varying.

So along with getting Pompeyo, Topher's horns came in (but I need new magnets because I broke some and then had a superglue accident) and I (obviously) have a camera! It's a Canon Powershot AS1000 is, and it's pretty nifty. I'm still getting use to it, but it's been giving me great results.

And now I want to focus on getting Archer (mnf shushu), Angie (mnf miyu), Harris (mnf rheia), Vadin (iple asa/limho mono), and maybe Frait (doll-chateau dorris). o_o Something tells me that these plans aren't going to stick, but I hope they do.

Why are the B-Line bodies talller? :C This kind of ruins the group dynamics that I set up.
I mean, I would buy some for... Hector, Helenus, and Tiresias (Who was going to get that body anyway) but I don't want them to have limited mobility. And it doesn't make sense for me to do that since the first two are athletes. B| (And maybe I wanted them to have muscle bods?)

Hm... I'm not sure what to do now.
I could just buy them B-Line bodies and roll with it. And if I ever need to, do some head swapping so they're more mobile.

I'm getting somewhere, and yet back tracking.

I finished paying for Pompeyo and he's on his way here, pre-ordered the body that he and Tiresias will share for the time being (now I know that I will need 390$ for one bod), bought his eyes, and have asked for his wig. So that kid is pretty much ready.

I've also inquired about Topher's horns (It seems the sale fell through, so they're back on the market?) and I've asked a friend about a camera she was selling. I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm being patient. =u= )b

Now I'm worrying about clothes. I tried looking for free patterns, but nothing has shown up. I'll keep looking but I bet I'll have to free hand it when the body gets here. :/ I would try to use Ben, but her being a girl and all... >:T

But I feel good about this. (I'll feel even better when I heard about the camera, though.) But it'll be nice to have full-ish dolls around the house. :3 Plus it'll be my first MNF and I'll get to see what all the raving is about!

So I don't think I'll get those character dolls of Hitsugaya and Luppi (Bleach) yet, because I still need to plan everything for them. I made a post about it earlier but it's missing some major things (Like face-up and body artist/s).

Plus I haven't written about the pair for some time and I really wanted the dolls to help me see any scenes I had a problem writing.

Now I've moved on to this... Ten character, mainly Greek 'character'/name yoinking thing that has some promise. And then this other idea where I give Eddy a pet fox spirit-thing that doesn't do much but lounge on him.

But back to the idea with the longer cast.

I really need to start drawing characters out because I'm about to go on a head buying spree and have no clue on anyone's eye colour, hair colour, or hair style looks like. All I know is that I might just cave into buying a bunch of glass eyes (Glass? I don't think I have a preference on eye-types, yet) and, when she re-opens, bug Revilis to make wigs for everyone. :'D

I know that I have appearances made for the Collins, Harris, Tiresias, Cassandra, and Pompeyo. It's mainly hair and/or eyes, though. ...I'm dreading the amount of work this will be. I mean, I'm cool with character creation, but not this many at once that I actually plan to keep.
(This actually makes me think if I should drop Paris, Hector, and Helenus, but everyone is important.)

So, the cast is set, and I need to figure out what I want to do. Either buy a ton of heads (Second hand) and then bodies (from DDE, and they'd cost ~3,285$ all together xAx ), get anything when both the head/body/full doll is available and I have money (aka What I'm doing now), or save to buy a bunch of al a carte MNFs (preferably in batches).

...ugh. And that's just Minifee. For Vadin, I'll have to buy a full Asa and then stalk Junkyspot for when they have a Limho Mono in stock. So unless I find the head and/or body by itself then that hybrid is going to cost ~800$.

I am not a fan of the numbers I'm seeing.

Instead of a JDF Terra, I think I'll make Vadin an Iplehouse JID Asa. The sculpts are pretty similar, but I'll have to make him a hybrid. :T Positive, the size will be more of what I want. If I can just mod it onto an JID boy body, then that'll be perfect. (Or find some others MSD that's ~46cm?)

i'm more sure about getting MNFs for some greek myth sort of thing. especially since I have a mnf seorin on hold. so that's Tiresias, Pompeyo (young boy who leads Tiresias in some scenes, not the general or whoever), Cassandra, Helenus, Paris, and Hector. (And then Angie, Archer, and Harris.)

I need to start making depictions of them, because I'm pretty sure I have no idea of how I want them to look.

The more I delve into the mythos of Troy, the more dolls I want. I feel bad for Tiresias, because he'll be the only one from Thebes, but he won't be the only prophet, so I guess that's okay.
This is really only dependent on one doll- Cassandra. SHe'll be a Shiwoo, but if I fall out of love with the sculpt, then there goes the rest of the gang.

So I already have Tiresias (Even though he doesn't count, but he started this) and he's a Sleeping Scar Breakaway. Then there's Cassandra (Shiwoo, ♂), Paris (Rix), Hector (Karsh), and Helenus (Shiwoo; Who I just recently learned about & he sounds like he would be a great friend for Tiresias ~~because people believe him, unlike crazy Cass.)~~
Also, silly me didn't realize that Priam had a lot of kids. And I only ever knew about Paris, Hector, and Cassandra.

Story/Character wise, these are the reincarnated versions of the originals. They'll have more casual ~ punk clothing from what I can imagine, and only one couple will happen from them ~~hectorparis~~~
Again, I'll try to write more about them before I just start buying more dolls than I can handle.

FACE-UP/FACE/HEAD

I don't know if I'll want Luppi to have his eyebrow markings as tattoos or piercings. Before I wanted them to be piercings, but I'm not sure anymore. I know that they would be rings, if I kept to that route.
Luppi's wig is coming from Dollmore, and I think Hitsugaya's will be from Sunny's. I'll have to double check, but I found the perfect wig for him. There are lavender eyes from Dollmore, I think, that I'd get for Luppi, and I'll be on the lookout for some for Hitsugaya.
For Face-Ups, I don't have an artist in mind, but I hope I can find someone who can do face-ups, tats, and body mods. So then I don't have to send my dolls to a bajillion different people.

BODY

Luppi's going to be genderless (Mainly because I don't care for a boy bit to be put on him) and have his 6 tattoo. I'm contemplating on seeing if anyone could give Hitsugaya a light tan (BECAUSE HE HAS ONE, I KNOW HE DOES) and he might have a tatto of the kanji for 10. I might be deviating from my version of his character a bit (because he wouldn't have a tat, and his folks would kill him) but I thought it would be interesting.

CLOTHES

I want them to have about three different outfits, which I'm sure they're not going to wear. I want them to have their original clothes from Bleach (Shinigami & Arrancar), casual/everyday/street wear, and something formal. Oh, and since I always view them as students, some school clothes too. So that's four. ...They'll probably wear their casual and 'cosplay' clothes the most.

I think I'll have to make plans for a doll day.
Right now, I'm at work with Topher and Guhn (It's been awhile since I've taken them out of the house) and as I was fiddling with them I noticed that they looked different to me. I'm not sure how or why, but something just looked different about them. I think they, and possibly my other dolls, will be in need of a style change. Maybe I'll see to it when I figure out my purchasing.

There are about 11 dolls and two bodies I would like to get as of right now. I've reached a point where I'm not sure if I would still like to have the characters I imagined for the dolls (mostly because I don't have some big, elaborate story featuring everyone together) and it's a bit frustrating when I know that I spent so much time on the character creation and being giddy about coming up with things for them to do. I've also been buying adoptables/designs for characters and have mainly been using them for writing, but I would like to see some of them in real life.

Maybe I'll look into my doll crew and the designs I have to see if they would fit with anyone. And maybe give my dolls' characters some overhauls as well. Because as much fun it is to have a 'motley crew,' I need something meaningful from all of this.

She bought the Deuce/Cleo gift pack so I could finally get the doll I wanted and my little brother could have another MH doll to feel special ~~(orsomething. hethrewafitwhenicamehomewithghoulia.)~~ But he has Cleo now and enjoys playing with her. He's getting better at taking care of his toys. ...When they aren't headless action figures. (._.

I've been drawing a lot of sketches of (male) dolls lately. I've been looking into artists' dolls lately and I'm really liking the ones of (overly?) feminine girls with wide hips. And since you can only really get that [aesthetic?] from modding girls to boys, I've been drawing boys with wide hips.
Personally, if I was aiming for androgyny then I can't see it. I do draw males pretty... girly. And I think I use to give them curves before, but not like this.
I like it though. :3

Hopefully, I'll continue with this. I think I'll change up the hands/arms and feet/legs each picture, just to give this variety. And maybe make an accessories sheet.

It'd be a sight to see them molded (and casted)~ >////< )b

Monster High wearing PKF Clothing!

So I'm expecting a [BJD] Fairyland Pukifee Bonnie in a few days, and I already bought clothes for them some time ago. I just happened to have the clothes out while playing with Lyca, my DotD Clawdeen, and wondered if they would be able to fit her.
And they most certainly do.

The body of one of the tops is a bit big, but it's probably better since I was able to slid her through it easily- until the base of the shirt met her waist/hips. |D Snug but push past~ The sleeves aren't too big or small for her arms. And the pants/leggings surprisingly fit, too! They get snug around the knees, but one you push past that, they're a good fit! They stop at the knees, though, so they make good... er, long-shorts? Short capris? *Doesn't know fashion*

If I get a JDF Terra of my own, I will name him Vadin 'Traxx' Lohher. He'll have carrot coloured hair (I would like from the top to his ears/back of his head to be orange and then either black or green from there.) and be a bit of a spitfire. I think he'd be a good friend for Dez |D
I'm also thinking that I might sand his cheeks/the sides of his head a bit. Nothing wrong with a subtle baby face, though.

Received a Resiinsoul Mei-boy in the mail yesterday for my friend, Whit. Spent most of my day trying to make the elastic tighter (Just learned that I have to get thicker elastic) and hot-glue sueding some of the joints (I think the ankles need it, but I am running low on glue sticks).
Gotta say, he's pretty cute. :3c I like that he doesn't look feminine looking (probably just the face-up) and just... looks nice over all. Not to say that RS dolls look bad but company/owners' pictures are influential. Anyway, this boy is adorable. Case closed.

And from the title... I was trying to look for clothes to make him presentable. And from the search I learned that I need more doll clothes, specifically shirts and pants. =n= )" So he has a cardigan, socks, and shoes. I'm glad that the cardigan is big enough to cover his front (and then some |D)

I think I would like to stop collecting for awhile. I doubt I will, but it'd be nice to just play with what I have instead of fawning over everything and busting the bank to get it. There are five more dolls that I want to get, and one more that I'm still thinking about. It's a PukiPuki Cupid2, since my friend wants a Cupid1 and I told her that we should get Cupid twins, but I doubt I'll play with him much. :|" But since I'll be paying for Ricky Show (PKF Bonnie) next month, I'll see if I like dolls on a smaller scale.

I'll try to reconstruct my doll family somewhat, since I don't think I want more SD sized dolls.(It'd be nice to get more, but there's the whole situation with space. :/ ) I've had mental character maps set in steel (stone is so last century) for so long that I'm not sure how I'll change them up. I know that my dolls/characters don't have to be related in some way, but that makes things easier for me.

I'm tempted to save up (see: quickly spend) for a Minifee ShuShu. It might end up being a girl, so this will be the second girl I'll have in my resin gang. (I thought I said I'd only have one girl. ...Well, it's not like Ben wears all of her clothes and stuff. Okay, I think this is a 'good' decision.)
Her name will be Archer Collins (Originally it was going to be Harper Collins but that's a publisher so...) or Archie/Archy for short.

She'll probably be like Benny and change her hairstyle a lot. I have ¡K4B00M!'s wig, but I'm not sure if I'm still going to try and get him and Sh'zokz, so she can use it. And I'll probably have them share the red wig of Ben's. :3c I think I might try to come up with a colourful wig for her.

And now I'd like for her to have a brother. :c (This is probably what I get for [1] being struck by the waaaant-bug and [2] being okay with getting another girl. I have to keep the 'balance'.) Archie's brother would be a Miyu-boy named Angie Collins. It's suppose to be short for 'Angel' but... yeah. not really. 8D" He'd probably stick to one style, but I could see him 'twinning it up' with his sister.

Alright, where to start...
I've been creating outfits for my Hitsugaya and Luppi character dolls. It's been... horribly slow (Not being able to draw bodies well causes a lull) but I hope to have at least three outfits for them. I hope when they're done, I'll be able to find the clothes. |D I doubt it but, pipe dream.

More dolls have moved out of my house and I am none the richer! \o/ /jubilation.

I'm really considering getting two dolls to be Hitsugaya & Luppi from Bleach. They are on the top of my favorite characters list, but since I write fanfiction of them, I don't want to keep thinking of their height difference and interactions.
I'm thinking of getting a 50cm and ~45cm dolls, since Hitsugaya is about a head shorter than Luppi (Technically, he should reach his collar bone) and that difference in resin should be enough. Luppi will probably be a modded Zaoll Luv... But I'm not sure about Hitsugaya. x_x And I'd really like for his doll to come in a light tan, too.

I guess I'll keep searching and update this when I find something interesting! :3c

So, Luppi is going to be a Dreaming Zaoll Luv and I already found the perfect wig (and hopefully eyes) for him on Dollmore. As for Hitsugaya, I still have no clue. I know the size to look for (43~45), so I'll try to focus on finding a sculpt.

Looks like the Monster High community is in an uproar about a sneak-peek photo of Spectra Von Hauntington, uploaded by Chuck Belich on sites like Flickr and MonsterHighDolls. Though it looks like a Ghoulia custom, I really don't think a hobbyist would go through the trouble of finding transparent plastics to make their dream doll come true.
Also in the picture, to the bottom left of Spectra's box you can see what appears to be red shoes, and on the left looks like another character's box with their tagline possibly being 'Big Man/Monster on Campus.' I'm going to assume that everyone is hoping for Clawd. ;) I know I am.
Personally, this Spectra looks like, but I'd rather have a pale skinned doll (keep the transparency!) with rooted mohair (is that possible?) and 'generic' ghostly fashions. But if her character likes dark, party dresses, then who am I to do changes? (I obviously don't have Mattel power. XD)

In other "news," I've started bringing Topher (My Soom Afi) to school with me. Because of this wonderful pic-fic/photostory (Sorry, Pullip people say pic-fic, and BJD people say photostory |D) I really want to 'reconnect' with my current gaggle of resin.

I'm borrowing a camera from a friend right now and I've been taking pictures for two days straight. They're nothing special, but I finally feel active now. I can actually set aside time from... whatever to take pictures for an hour or two and then get back to boreality. The only thing that's hard for me to do is to choose which doll I want to photograph. (Maybe this just means I should get more of my dolls clothed. :|" )

Anyway, my Flickr is reanimated and I'm having fun giving minor edits to pictures. I can finally use my photography handle 'ATK5ul'! /dance party. So if you see that watermark, you know who it is. ;]

Doll stuff... doll stuff... Eddy's shoes are officially too small so they'll be given to Icara when I buy his body... I hope that my paycheck is enough to finish and continue a layaway.... I would really like some Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san dolls. No lie, they're cute and I want Pest-X-san and her motorcycle ~~LIKE BURNING.~~ I think I would be willing to bring those to school with me. XD Or my Figma.

...Speaking of which, Black Gold Saw's release was pushed back to March. What's up with that, Good Smile? :| I'd like my pretty Figma, please. ~~And Strength too. ogeez, when is STR releasing?? /sob.~~

Day two of 'Mail Extravaganza' has passed. Day one gave me my first figma, Black Rock Shooter. I didn't expect for her to be so small! (Or that equipping her Rock Cannon would be a total pain. x_x)
Day two gave me pants for Eddy and a compression binder for myself. Now the only things left for Eddy are his eyes, wig (I have an extra just in case), shoes, and him. X3 waaaii, I can't wait!

So mail is moving well. I have two layaways for three dolls going on right now. One will be finished next month, while the other will wrap up in May. (And just in time for my friend's birthday!) Hopefully I can keep the money flowing 'til then.

On Monday, I bought a design from an artist on FA. The character reminded me of a Resinsoul Song (And a bit like my character, Zeitton) so I bought it and I'm basing Zei from it. Hopefully he'll look as cute in real life. XD

Making headway in this 'lemme buy all of my friends dolls lolol' nonsense. XD One doll is currently being made, and another one (Technically two but the other one is for me) should officially be on layaway by the next hour. So that's two down, and one and a body to go!

As things go for me, Eddy is currently on his way (along with most of his things, I'm guessing), Ricky Show (PKF Bonnie) is going to be on layaway shortly (Mentioned above), I have concrete plans for Zeitton (ResinSoul Song -- I bought a character design on FA that's perfect for him), and I'm thinking about getting a PukiPuki Cupid2. But nothing's really set in stone.

Eddy has been trouble for me. XD Good, not-even-here-yet trouble. His head (an Angel of Dream Hao) is originally white skin, but has yellowed over time to look like a normal (yellow) resin. And AoD's yellow-normal matches Demon Garden's. ...And that's going to be Eddy's body. :D Thankfully the person that I'm buying him from was also selling that body!
And as a bonus to this find, Demon Garden's resin matches Dollzone's. So, when I can, I'm going to try to buy a pair of jointed hands from the second hand market. :3 Now I just have to find him a striped shirt (Just two to three thick black stripes at the bottom), giant 'geek glasses', and some books. ...And maybe headphones.

I have caved into wanting an SDCC exclusive Frankie Stein. I think if I keep this up, I'm just going to strive for getting only interesting versions of the basic girls. (I was totally stalling for any word about DotD Lagoona ;w; /pipe dream.)
This is mainly because Justice lowered her price from 70$ to 50$, and slap on the current 40% off coupon and she's a total of 30$. And this is how much Justice sells their MH dolls. ;D With a deal like that, it's going to be hard for me to say no.

Character flaws are the best.

I'm thinking of getting the Series 11 Pinky #33 because she looks very boy-ish and her clothes are of her working at a burger joint. Because of that I want to make her a boy that is slowly becoming weight conscious since he always brings home a lot of burgers to eat. They're becoming part of his diet, along with a piece of toast in the morning, and a friend of his becomes worried; seeing that he's starting to gain some weight.

Rivaling Kinoko Juice dolls in my terms of utter cuteness is the Azone Pure Neemo body. The Advance bodies are known for being seamless and holding poses well. The Flection bodies allow for more motion but can be used with some of the Advance bodies' parts.

nngghhh, I want D: They're making a boy body, so I wanted to get a Flection XS (Girl) body, decrease the lack of boobage, get an Obitsu head and make a femboy. ...As a practice run, of course.

I was figuring out more of Percy and Gracey characters, plus my want for more dolls, when I decided to do some combining. I gave Gracey an older brother and Percy a female 'brother figure'.
They don't have names yet, but Gracey's older brother will be a Taeyang Kain and Percy's 'brother' will be a Pullip Souseiseki. They're dolls I want anyway, so I might as well give them new characters for the new arrangement.
Gracey's older brother is... a helpful tease? He'll listen to problems but won't hesitate to poke fun. He's been able to understand Gracey's silent speech since they were children and even helped him express himself better. ~~He likes prying into Gracey & Percy's BF-ness.~~
Percy's older 'brother' was originally a neighbor of his that looked after him a lot as a child. She grew up with a house full a boys while Gracey primarily lived with his mother. She took it upon herself to be the brother figure in his life. Being away from home, she leads a frantic lifestyle, but always makes room for 'Percy problems'.

I'm thinking of getting a Luts Kid Delf Ttori again. It was one of the first dolls that I truly planned on getting, but because I made such a large cast around him I felt that I couldn't get him without the rest of his group.
The character that I want him to portray is (still) Star, full name Kora Stella Lampert. He was originally a TDI fan character who was a frenemy of Duncan's from ~~prison~~ juvenile hall and caused his own havoc here and there. His basic profile stays true, but when I was looking for a doll to be him, I spent some time filling our his character and history. (Really, knowing Duncan and "being part of TD" was just a small part of his life. That was when he was a 'small child that could conquer small towns.')
I've been playing with his character again and I think that I could honestly get him, alone. I'll have to mull it over, I still have the 'Maintenance' list to complete.

There's a thread on Pullip Fiction asking how people got interested in Pullips. I'm trying to be as brief and general as possible but it sort of got me thinking about it.

Before (And still) I had a large fear of Blythes. Their eyes and proportions were... very unappealing to me and I tried to avoid any eye contact with them in pictures. I'm pretty sure that on my surprise viewings of them, I must have ran into a Pullip or two. But me being me, I didn't stick around too long to find out.
I think as I got more interested in figures and BJDs, I saw more Blythes and Pullips. I learned the visual difference between the two and now I can say "Oh gawd, not a Blythe" instead of "Must avoid Blythes or Pullips or whatever they're called..."
And since Pullips also have male counterparts, I instantly liked Taeyang (I'm not a fan of Namu :< ). I wasn't too use to the head sculpt yet, but I liked them more than Pullips. |D" I think I started liking them even more once I learned about Hujoo Wings.

Now I'm pretty cool with them. :) I hope I can get the Pullips I want and bring to life more characters. Good thing I decided to look into this part of the doll hobby, too! X3

Happy new year to all~ Hope last year's impossible is possible for you all this time around.

A new year means new toys, and I saw the commercial for the new Gomu- collectible erasers. I think the reception will be well with kids and doll collectors alike! (But Re-Ment will probably be top dog still. X3)

I've already started planning purchases for this month. I'm going to buy Gracey (Dal Tezca) and layaway order a BBB Mei-boy for one of my friends, Whit. I also ordered a shirt last month that should be shipping soon, so when that arrives I'll be giving my DiM Lloyd to another friend, Haymay.
I'm making transistions a bit early, but I think it'll be okay. (It's also because I haven't ordered a Dikadoll body for the Bygg I want to give Haymay. ^^" I guess this is compensation.)

Time to go investigating on Dal modification and customization! I want a blinking, mime-like lad ASAP~ <3

I opened up Lagoona and Jackson today. They both look pretty cool but came with defects, sadly. Jackson's face-up has some ruin at his right eyebrow. It's not too bad, but visible. As for Lagoona... At first, it was just the hole in the back in the back of her leggings. But as I was changing her and putting her arm back on it kind of snapped.
So the nub that locks in is stuck in her arm and I doubt I can fish it out. I looked on Mattel's service site to see if I could get a replacement, but they only replace the lower arms and hands.
*sigh*

Damages aside, I still like them :] I'll be up tonight fixing Lagoona.

I sort of have my mom hunting for Monster High things for me |D" And she called me just now asking which one of Lagoona's outfits I wanted.
I paused, and told her there should be only one. The swimsuit with the boogie board.
She told me that was there, along with a cheer-leading uniform.
'But that's for another character...'
'Well her name is on it. Like how the other character's names will be on their's.'
'Uh-huh... Well that's just a poor typo. But, um, yeah I want the swimsuit one, please.'

So parents out there... I suggest knowing the characters' looks and names (Because it probably doesn't help that there are four blue characters and only one is a boy) before hunting for MH toys and have contact with your child before their "Christmas is ruined-- FOREVER."

Holt Hyde "Review" and Squee

With shoes, again, his are tough to get off so be careful. I had to position his feet downward to get them off with relative ease.
His pants, when Velcro'd, limit his sitting. It might just be mine but he'll fall back when he sits when he wears them.
Also, my boy's legs are uneven. XD It looks like his left leg is a tad sorter than the right, but it doesn't hinder posing.
:S After a bit of play, when I lean him far enough Holt can sit, although it's a bit awkward. I think I actually 'lock' his leg into place or something. I'll have to look into it more when I get back from work.

Oh, and when I took him out if his box his arms weren't connected. |D I think who ever boxed him had a hard time working with the sleeve, so they just shoved the arms in and went from there.

:D Two are home, get to split one during the weekend!

DotD Clawdeen "Review" and Squee

:3 My mom dropped off my DotD Clawdeen, Lyca, yesterday. I de-boxed her and then remembered the 'warnings' about her and her outfit.

I want to get her new shoes because I, personally, hate the gold heels she comes with. 8|" I like that they're solid and will stay on, but it feels like they stay on too well ~~(I also think they look ugly)~~. And if you're not careful with removing them they could damage her fishnets. Her left leg already has a hole forming at the toes.
I haven't put her on her stand yet in her default outfit, but the Scream Uniform made it without any trouble. I read that the stand had caused rips at the seams with the DotD outfit, so I don't know if some of the holder-dealies were smoothed or not or if some outfit just weren't put together properly.

And then I saw her hair.
Did Mattel dunk her head in glue or something? 'Cause it felt like it.
I think some people like the style and didn't want to ruin it, so they didn't opt for the hair wash. I think washing it makes it better. I'm not sure what I was suppose to use on her hair so I pulled out some kiddie shampoo & conditioner XD Set her hair in water, shampoo'd, set her back in water, rinse, added conditioner, let her alone for like... 5min, reenacted the EEnE episode when Ed demonstrated how to be a human washing machine (Yes, I spun her like that |D" ), rinsed, and air dried.
The hair kept it's general shape and it's pretty much glue free but I was hoping that I could cover her right eye with it like in the art work.

For being my first MH doll and second girl doll, I really like her. :3 She holds her poses well and outfits aren't too difficult to put on/take off.

I really hope Mattel makes more fashion packs & extra hands (for the girls, unless they want to make extra arms for the guys). As much as I like her gloved hands, I think I'd like to actually see them. ...Or have her pointing. Or grabbing at something. Just saying. And more shoes to go with multiple outfits.

:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD HOLT COMES HOME TOMORROW. By the time he was at the sort-y place today, my postman was already here >:|" So I have to wait.

It's obvious that I've had a change in focus with this hobby. I'll get back to loving on BJDs in the Spring/Summer time when I should be done buying presents. I might just stick to ah, softer plastics until then.
I think as I'm making preparations for Maintenance, I'll stick to buying Pullips and Monster High related things. (Only because those are cheaper and I can get better support from the fam.) Maybe I'll lead down completion paths faster with them? Two Pullips (A Dal-boy and Isul) and five MH students shouldn't be too hard.

I forgive my local Justice for being short of Monster High stock the first time I was there. I didn't know parents stalked your store. And I'm sorry that you sold out of my favourite ghoul, Lagoona, two days after your latest shipment. If I had known sooner I would have bought her then.
And I'm sorry you guys don't have a stable shipping schedule. It probably bites to have silly collectors ask you every other day when you'll get more dolls.

Now that that's out of the way, I went to Justice earlier today to see if they updated their stock and whoa, did they. I finally saw Ula D, Frankie, Clawdeen, and the DotD girls in real life. Plus they had more of the ragdolls and the Scream Unis.
I bought a Deuce ragdoll and his uniform, since I'm in a split and will be getting him soon. I was hoping for Lagoona (and Holt) too but she was long gone. Then I went store hoping to see if anywhere else had her but they only had her ragdoll version. ...I really should have bought it :/ (And her & Clawdeen's uniform. Maybe later.)

:3 Totally glad to have had the coupon. We saved a good amount of cash (The price of the plush alone was the price we paid for both the plush and the uniform.) It's reusable so I might ask my mum to stop by there again over the weekend to see if she could get me some more merch.

David's outfit needed some minor finished, but Kei was alright with how it was and now he's back home :3 Gammon still doesn't have a wig, because the colour didn't seem to suit him. So I made one for Rumore instead c: I really like him with red hair, he looks good.

My friend's doll arrived during the weekend and we've been trying to set up a time for her to get it. We're hoping on today, but with all of the snow her Puki might be staying here for awhile longer.

I'm sort of... stuck in hobby right now. I'm really interested in Pullip dolls, but I've spent a lot on BJDs so I don't know if I can turn tail or not. And I really don't want to sell the dolls I have (I do intend to give some to friends), but that would be a good way to make cash back and use it for Pullips. :c I'll figure out what I want...

Today has been a work day for me. I started a little late, but so far I've made Tiresias' wig with no problem :D Anyone in need of a ginger-headed prophet?

The next thing I'll do is fix the pants & make a shirt for my friend's doll. I've been meaning to for a long while, but never had the time ~~or have been waaay too lazy~~. And after I'll try to make another wig for Gammon (LS Wolfram.)

But to do them, I have to stop goofing off and eating oily foods that prevent me from touching the dolls |D sigh.

I have a character figured out for him too :| Tress Brigden, Cryss' older brother who works as a roaming photographer and model. The Kain & Raiki sculpts look similar, anyway, and I actually have a solid last name for Cryss now (I... forgot the first one that popped into my head. I remembered it starting with a 'B,' though! :'D)

So other than wanting to buy Pullips (Can we wipe my brain of BJDs and substitute Pullips instead? /regret.) I received Guhn's boots today. I didn't know they'd be so big, so I was surprised when I was putting them on and they 'ate' his pant-legs XD

My friend's gift should be back in the mail :3 Hopefully it'll be here ASAP so I can get it to her and not have to worry much about it.

I think the only Pullip dolls I want are Souseiseki, Taeyang Kain, and Dal Tezca. I would like the other four Taeyangs I thought up characters for but I think I'll be fine with three. Plus I still want boy bodies for Souseiseki and Tezca XD I still need to figure out what male body to use with a Pullip to still make it shorter than a Tae.

There was a complication with one of my friend's gifts, but it's been resolved and it shall be re-sent tomorrow with hopefully more goodies~! I also have to check back with a few more sellers for shipping prices and pictures.

I have a feeling that I'm going to try to buy some Pullip dolls next month, even though that's not in my plans :< I'm trying my best to see this through and not be selfish.
I also need to figure out what I'm getting my best amigo for Christmas ;-; A DS, paid livejournal accout, or something Star Trek related. I can't pick one.

I enjoy my displacement of time since it gives me the chance to think about the same thing 50 times in about two days but it feels more like a week. Annoying, yes, (because I realize that it was just the other day) but convenient for me to keep on track with things. Too bad it doesn't apply to school :'D

c: Thinking about purchasing a Pullip Souseiseki (and making it a boy. Of course.) I was throwing names around and thought that 'Laptnz' or 'Lantz' sounded good. I sort of can't take her (I'm trying to get use to calling Sou a girl |D" ) out of character since I know a (very small) bit about the series, but I'll try to make them my own the best that I can.

For the moment, I'm a little bit stuck on finding the right body :/ I don't want Lantz and Feral (DAL Boy!Tezca) to be the same size at about 23cm. I might just make Feral shorter or hope to find an alternate solution to this. ...I'd really like it if all of my Pullips/Dals were boys |D (Unless Pullip stock/Obitsu bodies work like BJD bodies and can be sanded >:D )
Huh, I can't seem to find any information on the size of body that are common for Pullip-boys @__@ I'd like for Lantz to be shorter than Cryss (TaeYang Kain) and the rest.

I think when I finish with present giving, I'll put more focus into completing dolls @_@ I really should. Face-ups, wigs, eyes, clothes, characters... Just everything. I'm more use to Venny being 'Topher now, and I was thinking of steampunk-ing 'Dari, Cagnara, and Rumore (Give the two Grey boys some gear/steampunk eyes *__*). I'm still unsure about what I want to do with Icara :/ I know that someone on dA does free face-up, so I might ask them to do it (Only saying that his name is Icara and I really cannot envision what he would look like.) Everyone else... I'll see how things go.

Making the transition from BJD to TaeYang/Pullip c: Hopefully the extra day I worked will land me enough to finish my layaway and then I can start up my TaeYang(+Dal) Gang. I thought being on the Pullip side of things would mean that I wouldn't own as many, but I seem to be overlooking some TaeYangs. And whenever I see them I either know I don't like them (No offense) or I'm reasoning with myself (with my best friend's help) to not get that doll.

See, this morning I really wanted to bring one of my dolls with me to Uni and since I take Venny to work with me some days, I chose him. But he still has his long black wig, so I/we borrowed Rumore's :D (He's also wearing Dez's default vest, since he only has pants on for now ~~& they don't match with his hoodie~~)
When I finished putting the wig on him, I looked at him, posed him (Like a magical girl... *shot*) and immediately got the name 'Christopher Ludwig' from him ( ._. )" But then I changed it from Ludwig -> LuWen and then I shortened Christopher to 'Topher.

So Venny + Silver/Grey short hair = 'Topher. ...I don't know how long he'll be like this. It doesn't help that I like this look for him >3

Oh, and I tried putting Ven's black wig on Rumore, but... No. Just no. (I'm grateful that his horn prevented it from fully being on his head :'D )

Other than needing new pants, I don't know much about 'Topher :/ But I'll keep an eye on him.

Okay... Where to start.

BJDs -> YoSD Colin layaway. Hoping to finish that without any complications and then go on a spree of making clothes & wigs before I buy more resin peoples & parts (Granted I still have to buy things for myself and friends for the Christmas~Spring season...) I'll be updating my spendings accordingly.

Hujoos (Wings) -> Should start on figuring out what they need in terms of wig/eye colour(s), clothes, etc.

Pullips (TaeYangs, Dals) -> ...darn Dal and her pout. Except I will be wanting a boy!Dal~ So, a total of 5 Pullips (4 Tae, 1 boy!Dal) to finish this set. Hoping to purchase my first(s) by November- Probably won't be attending Tomodachi Fest unless a parental takes pity on me.

Pinky:st -> Pretty much finished my list by recently purchasing Yuuichi Kannami. Is going to be waiting patiently for the next boy~

I'm trying to draw Icara's face-up right now and... it's really difficult :c Not only did I draw his head wider than it should be, but I can't get his eyebrows right and he either looks angry/tense or borderline tired.

@__@ I guess this is what I get for not solidifying his appearance. His 'idea' is there, but he's not completely together. I'm still having a hard time choosing eyes and a wig for him. I think Ill go on a random rampage of just buying things for him (Especially a body) and do some mixing and matching.

Also, I going to guess now and check later, but I'm pretty certain that my layaway schedule has just been pushed back a month =______=)" My hours aren't hitting over 250$ monthly and that's not good if I intend to finish purchases before my birthday. Time to complain about not having enough money for purchases, but still having enough to barely make a layaway |Db I'm glad that I got over the 200+ mark, or else I'd have a more empty bank account. Rant: (Really, I'd have nothing to complain about if I had my regular work hours ._____. But that place is making me so... RAAAAGGGEEE, I can't stand it. About them... Moltov was originally part of a resistance/reformation group that wanted to regain control for their area (district/department/city) and try to modernize their old ways. But the group was captured and Moltov was sent into isolation for six months ~ a year. After being released, he decided to 'go back to nature,' seeing what the modern world & government had done to him and his comrades. (And since their goal was to modernize their old ways, he didn't want to lead others into his group's situation.) And, having been (unofficially) banished from his home, he set out to travel the rest of the world. And in comes Talith.
Talith was a run away, but still resided in his hometown. He tried his best to change his appearance and would steal to survive. He would stay hidden from officials, in case his parents asked them to look for him, and hardly came in contact with others. One day while attempting to snag a lunch, some neighborhood boys caught him in the act and chased after him. Unsure if he had lost them, he tried to slow down but bumped into a stranger that quickly hid him. The stranger misdirected the boys that followed him, and then took Talith home - so they could properly pack his things and leave the city.

c: I'm thinking of getting two Minifee dolls. I was looking through the DoA Gallery and saw a doll named SHOX. I thought the name was really cool, and ended up of thinking of two characters - Sh'zokz (Shocks) & ¡K4B00M! (Kaboom). They're raver kids decked in hyper/brite/acid colours and, depending on the situation, have swirly/crazy eyes <3 At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to make them dolls or draw them. But I want to see Sh'zokz's (cyber)locks and ¡K4B00M!'s smile (and abs *__*) in real life XD So I'll try my best to draw them (There's a certain style I want to draw them in) and get some reference stuff down.

Sh'zokz is going to be a MNF Dark Elf Soo (DES) on a normal Active line male body and ¡K4B00M! is either going to be a MNF Carl or Seorin on a muscular Active line male body.

I was also thinking of making a Tiresias based doll ^^" Probably with the Minifee Scarred Sleeping Breakaway head. He looks like he would make a good prophet :3

So... I'll be at about 6 SDs, 4 MSDs, ~8 YoSDs, & maybe a floating head or two for next year. ...ocrap that's almost 18 full dolls .___________. shiiiiiiiiiii- okay, that's enough. yeah. yeah. seriously. Crobidoll has limiteds coming out based from a Summer Surprise contest they had. I thought about joining the contest, and I should have, because the little characters that they drew for each question were just made into dolls. (And they're Yo sized! D: ) Not exactly sure what the real prize is, but the dolls are now part of their Limited > E line series. ;__; And I want Coin Maru~

I hope that they aren't too expensive. And I should also see if Crobi has layaway o__o I mean, I shouldn't, but he's just so cute! Sadly, the wig that I wanted for Icara has been traded :[ Got caught off guard by that, but it just means that I have to keep looking. But on the plus side, Venny arrived yesterday <3 I took some opening pictures and him, Rumore, and Dez played with some Medabots :D They look really cute with them.

But maan~ Do I rage at his current wig XD It's a really nice long, black wig, but I don't think I can tame it. Thankfully, he's a blonde |D So new wig hunting is a go~! (Along with eyes... I forgot that he's suppose to have steel-grey eyes instead of a peach/pink colour, but I have him in a nice green pair.) Ah, I have to get him his little antlers, too.

Should be working today, so hopefully it helps with my August pay-cheque. I think I have a lot pinned on it (Purchases, re-payments, layaways) so hopefully I can score big from it *Guts!*

Oh crap~ I want a NobilityDoll Ryoma :c But he's too tall (63cm). Though, something tells me that I should just either get him like that anyway, or get his head and then get a Volks SD13 body for him (And pray it looks good >__> )

Working on Christmas presents right now :3 I need to come up with a good buying/saving plan so I can pull off buying: Volks Colin, SD10 Boy Body, Luts 08man Head, 3 Pukipukis, 1 Pukifee, and one MSD fullset from Dollzone. ....I think I should start job hunting soon.

Darn it, I keep thinking about selling my dolls ;__; And I don't even want to! Hopefully this 'nagging' feeling will kill itself so I can blissfully buy moar things :D

ugh, Anyway, I found a website called ShutterCal. Basically, they give you an online calender that you can upload pictures onto everyday. The reason is to preserve memories and improve your photography skills, for the most part. And you can buy prints from them. Maybe when I get a camera, I'll start doing it? It sounds like a nice idea (Though I wonder if you can upload more than one picture a day?) and I'd probably use it more than other micro blogs :x

Back to dollie positives, wigs came in on Monday :D I really like Rumore's (It's got it's own iffy-ness, but it's still nice) and I can't wait to buy 'Dari so he can wear his <3 I'm really glad that I was able to buy a Luts Adadon LE wig =3=)b That was a bit hard to find. ...I still have to look for the Afi default wig for Venny, but there's a wig on CotinDoll that'll probably work just as well.
Now I just have Venny and some clothes to wait for .3.)

I think I'll start confirming things for Guhn and Show. ...Oh gosh, and Icara D: (Though, I'm pretty sure of his wig, but not his eyes :c ) Their hair & eye colours aren't really together, so I'm going to see what I can come up with.

Friends are great.

@_@ I think my life has become confusing?
Or I just don't know how to deal with things.

Anyway, I need to be a good hobbyist and plan accordingly so when I see failure, I can take note, skip over it, and move on to something new (Then go back and fix it ;w;)b )

I guess I'll take care of what dolls I need to buy, then 'structural' things like wigs, eyes, eye putty, wigs caps... After that D: I- I guess either finding a face-up artist or getting the supplies and practicing myself. Then outfits.
Oh! I also want to buy a carrier from usagihime c: Or Dollmore. ...Probably both |D

And I think I found my Vergil |D B&G has a Freya-Boy and the company pictures show him in tan~ I really like it, and think that might work. Though, now I want an Afi (again), but I guess I can start up a second wishlist? Keep things in check so that I can monitor my doll wantings? *Nodnod*

:c Ever since Benny came in, I've been re-thinking the size of dolls I want. Like, I love all of the sizes I own right now but... I'm thinking that I don't want to own anything over 60cm x__x)" Which I don't think is really possible for me, because I think most of the sculpts I like are SD 60cm+ size~

I might just put the blame on the MSD size and companies who don't make dolls in that size. ...coughmusedollcough. And also that since Icara still needs a body, he'll be one of my shorter SDs, so I guess I could do a size up with him :<

And I'm pretty sure I didn't forget that I want one 70cm SD >_> Nope. 'Cause that's Boston. And he's going to be really hard to find since I don't think anyone is selling a Luts 08Man head OTL But I'll keep searching. Or go with the original plan and use a Luts Flood mold.
