Dollightfully Devoured

(One day my titles won't be completely stream of conscious thoughts.)  Some 'real talk': This year has been a lot for my family, and unfortunately my response to dealing with stress is concealing emotions and spending money so I have something to look forward to in the future. And that means I have a lot more projects on my work bench and, unsurprisingly, less money to get commissioned work done (and also less money to buy tools to attempt to DIY). So anyway I got into cotton dolls (plush dolls / 'K-Pop dolls') and that's been a fun corner of the doll hobby! I've always liked plushies but the styling of [older] K-pop dolls never grabbed my attention. Nowadays there seems to be a lot more variety and concepts swirling around, and it's making for a lot of interesting dolls and clothing! AlchemicLabo  , Cresent Shop  , Unoa Quluts (Alchemic lab news and sales schedule) :3 I've looked into these dolls before, but held no interest in them. Now I'm looking into them again, and I'm seeing possibilities. I first looked into them because of the face plate system- which looks very interesting to say. There are a couple that I would consider getting :3 As long as I could replicate the face-up so many times over XD But the only things that got to me was (1) How/Where to order them and (2) Genders. Because everyone knows that Enski likes the men-folk 8D :0 It seems that U-Noa females are pretty popular, but there are some males. And the U-noa Chibi Roron can be made into a male, so I'm good 8D I'll keep my interest open for these dolls :3 Not sure if I really want one or not. - Enski

I've been working on Star and his story so much that... I can't get him as my first doll XD I'd have to buy his friend Grey (Little Monica Kliff) with him or something :X I just like making things complicated for myself. So instead I'm going to be getting my Pado Twins -- Kid Dollmore Pado Armel & Kid Dollmore Suntan Pado Faris . They don't really have a developed story, but I really like their interaction with each other. It's... not a romance, but could be considered one o_o" But they're not related, I think... I might start using this as a blog for my Bjd (Ball-jointed doll) when I get him ^^ I'll use this (and my LJ) to keep information of him. (My Xanga is so un-loved XD") The doll I'm aiming for is a LUTS Kid Delf Ttori. I'm basing him of a character of mine named Kora Stella 'Star' Lampert . He's a young teen, so I'm hoping this mold will suit him well ^_^ Originally he was an OC for...
