That gross feeling of accomplishment
I realized, yesterday, that I would be having Icara's head for 4~5yrs, and through all of that I've slowly gotten his doll together. It took ~3 years to get him a face-up, I got his body last year, and then he got an outfit a couple of days ago. All he really needs are shoes, now ( Him, and the rest of my dolls ). His character is one that I drag through different stories and universes, thinking that he'll fit in somewhere. I think I've accepted that he's sort of a universal constant in most of my dolliverses, and he plays the role of the try-to-do-good wanderer. I started writing something about him, last year, where he was traveling and ended up in a place he had been before- and his previous stay wasn't necessarily good. I can't think of where I was going with it, but I guess I was trying to add some depth to his character, or something.
