ADAW 2k15 - "Determine"
Dear Self, if you're really set on taking pictures with day light, then don't attempt taking pictures after 3pm. It's not worth it. Thankfully, the lights in your kitchen are decent.
ugh, I planned to do too much today. But let's talk about dolls.
This week I took pictures of Eddy Victin (hybrid Angel of Dream Hao on Demon Garden body) and his robot, Dorian (Batchix Mini-Machina Delta). They were very good (slightly planned) impulse buys that I was able to put into a dollverse I really, really enjoy (that I hope to get back into writing for, at some time).
Originally when I bought Eddy, his character was supposed to be a model? I think. But I scrapped that and put him into this story where he's basically a robotics student. Still super shy, but now he knows a thing or two about technology.
(The 'verse, itself, isn't necessarily modern. It's like a mix of magic and steampunk - at least, whenever I think of it, everything is in that "steampunk brass" color.)
But this theme was pretty perfect for Eddy. He holds himself back from doing things that he wants to do (building robots), mostly because he doesn't want to disappoint his teachers or parents. But when he's finally given the chance (and hard shove) to show off what he can do, it sort of wakes him up and motivates him to worry less and do more.
It'll still to take him some time to really start on a building something - maybe months, but it's better than before (years).
And Dorian is ready to help his builder however he can! :v
